Amanda Atkin

Amanda Atkin (formerly Bjork)

A Southridge High School girls golf alumni, Coach Atkin brings a lifetime of competitive and professional golf experience to the game.

During her high school career, she was a four-year Big 9 All-Conference selection and a state qualifier, establishing a strong foundation as both a competitor and a leader. In addition to her athletic achievements, she was a multi-sport athlete who also played volleyball. She was actively involved in her school community, serving as Hope Club president, an Ignite mentor, and a member of the student ASB.

She continued her golf career locally at Columbia Basin College, where she was part of a NWAACC Championship winning team and earned NWAACC All-Conference honors individually. Her success at the junior college level led her to compete in NCAA Division II golf at Western New Mexico University, where she once again distinguished herself by earning Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) All-Conference recognition. She earned her degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Coaching, combining academic knowledge with high-level competitive experience.

Since graduating from Southridge, her career has remained rooted in golf. Her professional background spans golf course operations, golf retail, and even working as a PGA Tour nanny, providing her with a unique, well-rounded perspective on the game and the golf industry as a whole. She currently serves as the General Manager at Columbia Park Golf Tri-Plex, where she continues to grow the game and mentor players of all ages.

With competitive experience at every level and a lifelong passion for golf, Coach Atkin is dedicated to developing confident, knowledgeable, and motivated student-athletes both on and off the course.
