Congratulations to Desirae Juarez, our Suns Athletics Athlete of the Week!

This is not the first time Dez has earned this honor, and her dominance on the wrestling mat this season is further evidence of why she is a multiple-time recipient.

Desirae is currently 18–0 on the season and has captured multiple tournament titles. Most of her victories have been decisive, coming by pin or large point margins. She has now surpassed 100 career wins and is shaping up to be a strong contender for a state championship this year.

Come out and support Dez and her teammates as they take on Hanford tonight, and be sure to catch her in action later this month at one of the largest tournaments in the Northwest — the Braided 64.
