Senior and co-captain Kiara Haertling has been named Southridge High School Athlete of the Week. The standout wrestler has compiled an impressive 23–4 record so far this season and captured first place at the Othello Tournament this past weekend, earning five consecutive victories.

Last Thursday, Kiara secured a win in her dual match against Chiawana, helping lead the Lady Suns to a crucial league victory. She remains undefeated in league competition this season.

Kiara excels both on the mat and in the classroom, carrying a 3.87 cumulative GPA. Her leadership, work ethic, and performance truly embody what it means to be a Rising Sun.

Fans can catch Kiara and her teammates on Senior Night this Thursday as the Lady Suns take on the Pasco Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m.
