Southridge High School is proud to welcome Amanda Atkin as our new Head Girls Golf Coach.
Amanda Atkin (formerly Bjork) is a Southridge girls golf alumnus who brings a lifetime of competitive and professional golf experience to the program.
During her high school career, Coach Atkin was a four-year Big 9 All-Conference selection and a state qualifier, establishing herself as both a high-level competitor and a natural leader. She was also a multi-sport athlete, competing in volleyball, and played an active role in the school community as Hope Club President, an Ignite mentor, and a member of the student ASB.
She continued her golf career locally at Columbia Basin College, where she was part of a NWAACC Championship–winning team and earned NWAACC All-Conference honors individually. Her success at the junior college level led her to compete at the NCAA Division II level at Western New Mexico University. There, she again distinguished herself with Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) All-Conference recognition. She earned her degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Coaching, blending academic preparation with elite competitive experience.
Since graduating from Southridge, Coach Atkin has remained deeply connected to the game of golf. Her professional experience includes golf course operations, golf retail, and work as a PGA Tour nanny, giving her a unique and well-rounded perspective on both the sport and the golf industry. She currently serves as the General Manager at Columbia Park Golf Tri-Plex, where she continues to grow the game and mentor golfers of all ages.
With competitive experience at every level and a lifelong passion for the sport, Coach Atkin is committed to developing confident, knowledgeable, and motivated student-athletes—both on and off the course.
